Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and,
as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed.

Now, we are trusting the economy of our country and 700 Billion Dollars to a pack of nit-wits,

BOYCOTT -Gasoline stations in Norwich

Why are gasoline prices so high in norwich? If you drive 30 miles north or 30 miles south gas is 50-60 cents cheaper per gallon! I refuse to buy gas in my hometown, and encourage others to do the same.

"Gay rights supporters waving rainbow colors marched, chanted and danced in cities coast to coast Saturday to protest the vote that banned gay marriage in California and to urge supporters not to quit the fight for the right to wed.

Crowds gathered near public buildings in cities large and small, including Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and Fargo, to vent their frustrations, celebrate gay relationships and renew calls for change."

Female KKK recruit shot and killed at ritual

An Oklahoma woman invited to a rural Louisiana campsite for a Ku Klux Klan initiation ritual was shot and killed after she asked to be taken back to town, the sheriff of a New Orleans suburb said Tuesday.

Eight people were arrested after authorities found the woman's body hidden under some brush, on the side of a road several miles from the remote campsite where the initiation was planned.

Texas councilman tells teens to hoist saggy pants

Dallas Councilman Dwaine Caraway is on a mission: He wants those wearing low-hanging, baggy pants to pull them up.

As part of his ongoing campaign against saggy, underwear-exposing pants, the mayor pro tem held a summit Saturday. More than 100 adults, children, students, ministers, law enforcement officers and representatives from local organizations attended the hours-long derriere affair.

Its about fucking time.

Phone company: Heavy Internet users to pay more

Phone company Frontier Communications Co. will probably charge its subscribers a dollar or two per gigabyte of Internet traffic if they go over the monthly allotments the company plans to introduce next year, Frontier's chief executive said Friday.

The company is at the forefront of what CEO Maggie Wilderotter believes is a trend among Internet service providers toward billing for the amount of data subscribers use, rather than all-you-can-eat monthly plans.

Cop charged in assault

same old story. cop thinks he's above the law,as usual. you see it every day, flashing lights and siren, speeding, using a cell phone while driving, a good portion of the time on the way to dunkin donuts or to some coffee shop........ heres another story......... cop above the law...... thinks its ok to beat the piss out of another guy, now charged, its a about time.

"A special prosecutor will be assigned to look into charges against the town of New Berlin police chief, Chenango County District Attorney Joseph McBride said Friday.

Richard P. Kellar, 43, of Norwich, was charged with third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor, after an assault Thursday in the hamlet of South New Berlin, Chenango County deputies said. Kellar was off duty at the time he allegedly caused physical injury to a 42-year-old male, deputies said, but the time of the incident was not available Friday."

O'Reilly Media recently interviewed Greg about his claim that the Linux kernel now supports more devices than any other operating system ever has, as well as why binary-only drivers are illegal, and how the kernel development process works.

Ubuntu Linux: 8 Million Users and Growing

There is a business behind the popular Ubuntu Linux operating system and according to its lead commercial sponsor Canonical, that business is good. Canonical is set to debut its latest Linux release Ubuntu 8.10 also known as the Intrepid Ibex on October 30th. The new release will include networking, virtualization and user management improvements.
